Pixal is a simple camera app designed to capture and manage photos and videos across iOS, and creates a private content network in the process. This less social network is a bold new step in social networking because there’s no friend lists and no likes. We believe friendships are based on interactions, and we don’t believe in putting a label on friends, but rather, creating a model and philosophy that replicates natural human interactions, that is, your life and your friendships evolve over time so your online circles should represent the same.
The uniqueness of this solution is centred around dynamic creation of albums and events based on calendar and social media activities. Events and activities are recognised primarily via the phone’s calendar and information from Facebook events. This app is designed to PROACTIVELY organise your content whereas most other content management apps provide a reactive solution.
All your photos and videos captured via Pixal is saved on your Photos (iPhone) apps creating relevant albums, ensuring your content is still in one centra location, and your backups just work, there’s no additional work.
PIXAL SHARING - an innovative new way to privately share photos with the people that matter, the participants of that event. Pixal Sharing is OFF by default across the entire app, and can be easily turned ON per album or event, by each user for their own photos, and these photos are only shared with the participants of that event.
EVENT modes - The app eliminates guess work and puts the user in the driver’s seat, without creating any extra work. We suggest Event modes, all you do is slide to the relevant modes and snap away, we’ll then create albums and folders based on those modes, all in real time and we remove the mode from the slider once that event has finished.
COMMON mode - this is an area that’s near and dear to your heart, photos and videos you take a lot of, whether it’s a loved one, family, kids, food, sports, or even a professional passion. Easily rename this mode, add other participants in this mode and turn Pixal Sharing ON if you’d like to give them READ ONLY access to these photos and videos. That easy!
ALBUMS mode - easily create and share albums with friends and families, or use it for a work project. Use Pixal Sharing if you want to, or simply keep it OFF.
